Hamilton, Ontario-born Jason Meyers began his career as a financial

advisor, but quickly left the finance field behind to pursue his dream of

becoming a world-renowned fashion designer.

Meyers moved to Toronto to attend the International Academy of Design and

Technology and graduated in 2003 at the top of his class. Fresh out of

school he was singled out as “One to Watch” by Fashion Television. A stint

with New York designer Peter Trainer helped Meyers hone his skill, as all

the while he continued to design tailor made garments for private clientele.

The first full Jason Meyers’ collection was unveiled for Fall/Winter 2006,

which featured high-end women’s wear inspired by the tuxedo. It was

designed for the Jason Meyers woman – a confident professional who has a

passion for all things beautiful. She loves clothing that makes her feel sexy

and glamorous.

Winning over a legion of new fans, Meyers competed on Season 2 of

Global’s Project Runway Canada. His finish in the top three can be attributed

to his skill level and dedication. The learning experience and national

exposure have been instrumental to the growth of the designer and the

brand.

Meyers has become known for his detailed tailoring, garment structure, and

timeless yet edgy creations. Inspired by architecture, contemporary art,

modern music and above all, powerful women, he pairs the elegance of

high-style with street-savvy sex appeal. Meyers is committed to consumer

satisfaction and having a woman walk away feeling confident and beautiful.

Already dubbed one of Canada’s top designers by Style magazine early in

his career, Meyers won’t settle until his work is recognized around the globe.
